Open Studios: NAYANA

What’s on Visitors are invited to experience the creative space and attend a workshop taking part in a hands-on experience, learning how to make basic Sinamay headwear. By the end of the session, each participant will have created their own personalised headpiece or fascinator, designed in their own unique style.
Outside of the scheduled workshop times, visitors are welcome to explore the studio, discuss their design ideas, or learn more about Melbourne based, made in Australia millinery. This is an exclusive workshop opportunity with limited space available, an ideal experience for fashion or design students, emerging creatives, or anyonecurious about skilled making and the artistry behind handmade millinery.

Studio NAYANA is on the first floor of Building B. On Friday the 15th, the main ground level door will be open until 5pm. Alternatively, an external staircase at the side of the building provides access to the first floor.
